  1. Seriously rated the P30 and after trashing it, needed a replacement with dual sim. Couldn’t find a P30, so went for this. Everything that was compatible with the P30 is not available/compatible with this one… essentially I have gone back to basics with a fancy-looking handset. I use it for calls and pictures only. Texts don’t work. Facebook messanger crashes as soon as you opening it. Volume turns itself on and off. Avoid.

  2. I like Huawei devices, I like that they offer good value. They have top range for reasonable prices and mid-range for great prices compared to others. However, due to the US concerns that a Chinese company is overtaking American companies like Samsung and Apple Huawei was forced to remove Google services. This is unfortunate as it is hard to use at the moment without it. I’m sure Huawei will eventually make equal or better programs but until then it’s sadly a phone that is hard to use for anything more than phone calls and texts. For the moment I will stick with Huawei devices that run Andriod 9 as the still have Google services.

  3. Be aware – this device does not support ANY apps from Google. You can only install apps from the Huawei gallery and these do not download properly. I had no choice but to return the device. Shame – it is a good looking phone 🙁

  33. A really nice looking, good quality device that works exactly like the other Huawei (P9 Lite) that i needed to replace but with better quality hardware EXCEPT Huawei devices apparently no longer come with access to the Google Play store.I have found ways around this by adding some website shortcuts to the homescreen to replace the apps that aren’t available (of which there seem to be many (Insta, BBC & Sky news, etc). However, can’t seem to access Amazon Prime Video or Netflix at the moment. The phone seems to be great quality and I think I’ll survive without the apps, but do hope the Huawei installed App store gets up to speed ASAP

Great phone, good battery life, excellent camera.Dual sim, nice big display.

  51. Jose Villadolid II October 26, 2022 at 3:09 am

Received the package with broken seal and the actual phone unit is missing. Currently I am in touch with the amazon support to see where we go from here. Very bad first impressions…

Maps läuft ebenfalls problemlos, alternativ ist Here we go vorinstalliert. Frei-Finger-Scann, Double-Tap to wake, Fingerabdruckscanner im Powerknopf integriert … Top!

  53. No Gmail…no youtube…no google maps…no chrome…no play store…no google calendar…no streaming to chromecast. No google services at all. Huawei app store completely useless, didn’t even have banking apps found for santander, monzo and more. Is like going back 20 years. For me? Completely useless. If that’s fine with you then I assume this phone is alright

  54. I like all of it. It cleverly works around the ban on using Google Apps. Very good quality sound and better reception than my previous i-phone in low coverage areas using the same Sim.
