Updated comments on Nov 07, my a70 was repaired by the seller perfectly! ThanksThe buyer send me a used phone, not new one, I bought on Aug, but when I turned on the phone, it comes into the system directly, no set up for activation!!! Also I can find some signs that the phone was used in July!!!Even worse, the phone can not connect WiFi in my room, and the WiFi name can not show on the list, however the my iPhone 8 can do it well.Fingerprint and battery are also big problem!

Purchased a ‘UK’ Phone, arrived not in its selophane which I thought was odd but the Samsung seal was intact so didn’t think much of it. Opened the box, phone seems brand new in its protector but upon removing realise that the internal packaging is torn, odd for Samsung after owning many. Charger is not in any protective packaging, again unusual. Missing samsung data transfer switch also. Turned phone on. UK setup comes on. Continue with setup, however at end of setup arrives many Hungarian apps and to further reinforce this the instructions are also Hungarian.What the company has done for my mothers Christmas present is gone to great extent to fool you in to thinking you have a UK device as stated in there advert. What they have actually done is removed the European charger plug and replaced with a used UK one and powered the phone on, set the settings to UK and then fraudulently applied a Samsung seal. I have sent a email to them regarding a full refund, I will update the information depending on if I end up in court over the description of goods act.Thankyou for your time in reading

What I can say is, I simply love this smartphone.My recent was the Galaxy S9 (non plus version), and this Galaxy A70 does what that other smartphone does but better, with the exception of the cheaper price tag. The A70 has more RAM (came with the 6GB model), and big camera improvement thanks to the triple camera setup. The fingerprint scanner is now optical (on the screen) which might throw some people of compared to the scanner which is on the back part of the S9 smartphone, but not for me, as I prefer using the screen itself to unlock my A70. Last thing I would like to mention is the addition of the 123 degree camera mode built in, which basically zooms way out and widens the camera view, so it is like what the human eye can see, which is quite cool! Also is just as great if not better, and competes with the flagship brands out there, including Samsung’s own range.Overall, fantastic smartphone from Samsung, and would recommend people to buy it if they don’t want to go all out and buy a flagship Samsung. 10/10 🙂

The phone quality is questionable. Volume and power buttons are not working in less than a month time of use.Also I cant seem to find a way to contact seller to find out about warranty terms.

Quality is very low, I tested the Read and Write speed and it works like USB 2 speed only, if you need true USB-C Access speed this item is not not recommended for you.

I needed a fast charging USB-C cable for my original Samsung S8+ charger – there was endless choice – and which to purchase?My replacement cable started getting very hot – like burn your fingers hot – I was worried it would eventually explode or catch fire.Luckily this works right out of the packet – plug it in to my Samsung charger and it immediately starts fast charging.No re-inserting the cable into the phone – it just works.No overheatingHighly recommended.

I don’t make a lot of voice calls (but call quality is good) , and I don’t play games on the phone or use social media.But, I do surf on the phone a lot, read ebooks, and text – so big, high quality screen was very important to me.With my usage patterns, I can get more than 2 days between charges, sometimes more than 3.Dual SIM is handy, will get a cheapo PAYG SIM from EE or O2 for extra coveragePlenty of internal storage, plus memory card.Haven’t done much experimenting with the camera yet, so can’t comment on that.Found the finger-print reader ok, but in the end found a PIN to be quicker and more reliable.Overall, impressed and very pleased with it – worth the money !

The fingerprint scanner has had an update. It’s now very reliable. The phone is great. Amazing Camara. Amazing battery. Very good phone indeed.

Awful. Not sure if this is a faulty model or the phone is just rubbish. After a full initial charge the battery lasted about 6 hours. The fingerprint reader is temperamental and keeps saying its corrupted. The camera turns itself off all the time mid use. Ive asked for a refund but the seller is being evasive and unhelpful. I spoke to Samsung. They referred me back to the sellar. Wouldn’t recommend this phone or the sellerNow I have been left with a phone that doesn’t work and a sellar that couldn’t care less.Disgraceful

Considering the price, I was expecting the camera to be better. The 32MP thing is a bit of a lie, 99% sure the sensor is only 8MP and the Samsung camera app either stitches 4 together or, judging by the quality, interpolates up to 32MP. I figured bigger brands like Samsung would be above this but I guess not. The fingerprint scanner takes a bit to get used to as well and it’s quite slow when it does recognise your finger but it’s fine as far as in-screen readers go. The notch is inoffensive and the front camera is adequate. It’s also a bit top heavy so be careful if you have smaller hands. The rest of the package I can’t fault! Very snappy, gets me 2-3 days of on time (a couple of hours of music a day, some light social media, a few photos etc). The nearly-full body screen looks great too! I can’t go back to bezels now.
